<p>Join us for unforgettable shark dive and educational opportunities for a 10 night-9 day trip around The Bahamas to meet up to ten different species of sharks and rays.</p><p>We will sail on board a 46ft Leopard catamaran with a maximum of six passengers and five crew members, including Kewin and Cristina.<br>On the first day, we will board the boat in Freeport, Grand Bahama, at the dock in Port Lucaya. Once everyone is on board, we will sail for dinner.<br>There are three areas we are going to cover during our cruise; like anything open ocean related, they are dependent on weather, and we will do our best to navigate from one to the other to avoid the worst conditions, so there is no specific itinerary.<br>After checking the weather in the evening, we will discuss the best option for the following day or days and will include the group of divers in the decision making process.</p><p>The locations and dives are:<br>1. Shark Junction, where we will conduct swimming on reef, no structured shark dives, and our unique interactive shark dive, learning about the local shiver of Caribbean Reef and all the sharks on the site.</p><p>2. Tiger Beach, where we will be diving with Tiger, Lemon, Caribbean, and Bull sharks.<br>3. Bimini for the unique Great Hammerhead shark dives and the opportunity to meet baby Lemon sharks, Atlantic Sharp-nose sharks, and stingrays in the shallows.</p><p>We will land and allow for some time off walking the island of Bimini and checking out the local places. Evening and sunset snorkel and swims around some of the local attractions are also included in our itinerary.</p><p>We will complete a max of three dives per day, no night dives; dives are determined by weather, underwater conditions, current, visibility to guarantee the best safe experience for all participants.</p><p>A minimum of an Open Water Diver certification is required to join our trip.</p><p>We return to Freeport, Grand Bahama Island, and disembark on the last day of the cruise after breakfast.<br>Cabins are double occupancy; we will provide a divisor between the beds for people sharing the same room. The Shark Specialty
<p class="rteBlock">Learn about sharks, their conservation status and what we can do to help. Share your time underwater with my wonderful shiver of sharks, learn how to recognize the individuals and observe their natural behavior.</p><br><p class="rteBlock">We will complete one afternoon of theory about shark biology, behavior, dispelling myths and learning unique aspects that will provide a new understanding of the word sharks.</p><br><p class="rteBlock">Two training dives among the sharks. For more information about being in direct contact with them view the Shark Interactive Experience.</p><br><p class="rteBlock">Minimum Open Water Diver certification is required. Depth between 12-20m/40-60ft. Minimum age is 12 years old. The Shark Interactive Experience
The Experience is a one day, two dives. During these dives, you will have the opportunity to wear the chainmail, pet, handle and come in direct contact with my beautiful shiver of Caribbean Reef Sharks. We will meet in the morning and, on the way to the dive site, we will discuss the basics of shark interaction. Kewin Lorenzen, professional videographer and photographer will collect all the special moments and deliver a final video and three high resolution images for personal use. Take your loved one to watch while you complete your dives. A maximum of two additional divers are allowed to join and observe from a safe distance. Gear is not included for observers. A full wetsuit is required for any participant. No personal cameras allowed on the dives. You can share the experience with another scuba diver; one diver completes one interactive dive while the other observes and reverse roles on the second dive. Additional cost $150. Minimum Open Water certification required. A high level of comfort with regulator, mask and buoyancy skills are recommended. Depth 45-55ft/14-16m. The day starts at 8:30 and ends at 1:30 pm (13:30) Subject to change due to charter availability. Scuba and specialized gear are included. The Shark Interactive Add-on
This option offers a progressive journey built to create independence and confidence interacting with sharks through knowledge and understanding. You will meet, learn to recognize, name the different sharks we will be diving with. Each dive is a building block based on the previous one and it’s always custom made for each student. We charter a private and fully equipped scuba diving boat with private captain for a personalized experience. No other divers will join the dives. We will complete two training dives per day over the additional days under my direct supervision. Intro to Technical Diving Course
<p class="rteBlock">This course walks students through the special techniques, planning procedures and skills that set technical diving apart from traditional sport diving. It will show them how to improve their dive planning methods, in-water skills and streamline their existing gear configuration, in a non-threatening and fun learning environment. The course may also be used as an introduction to the Advanced Nitrox course, Decompression Procedures and the Overhead Environment courses. And finally, it is also a good refresher for certified technical divers who may want to refresh their skills or have them re-evaluated.</p><br><p class="rteBlock">Duration 3 days.</p>
KISS Sidewinder and Spirit

Sidemount
<p class="rteBlock">The Sidemount Diver course is a complete and comprehensive course designed to work together with each diver to make learning and sidemount diving easy.</p><br><p class="rteBlock">Emphasis on this course is placed upon gear familiarity and sidemount diving skills with added techniques for advanced diving environments.</p><br><p class="rteBlock">Special Cave Sidemount training is available for cave divers who wish to transition from back mounted doubles to sidemount and for cave divers in sidemount configuration wishing to learn sidemount cave diving (minimum 5o logged cave dives required). Techniques include single and double tanks removal.</p><br><p class="rteBlock">Sidemount gear is available for rent; however, it is recommended to have a personal full set. Sidemount is a very personal gear configuration and not out of the box ready to use like a more traditional setup. Cristina will work very closely for a fitted gear configuration.</p><br><p class="rteBlock">Duration is three days 8:30 am through 4:30 pm</p>
Advanced Nitrox And Decompression Procedures
<p class="rteBlock">The TDI Advanced Nitrox Course qualifies divers to use enriched air nitrox from EAN 21 through EAN 100 percent within your current certification level to a maximum depth of 40 metres/130 feet during dives that do not require staged decompression. Combined with Decompression Procedures you will plan staged decompression diving with a maximum operating depth of 45 metres/150 feet. These courses are not taught separately.</p><br><p class="rteBlock">Duration is six days</p>
Cavern Diver Course

Divemaster
<p class="rteBlock">Cristina provides training at the international recognized PADI Divemaster level. Limiting her class number to a maximum of four students, she will work closely with you to fine tune your diving skills, perfecting being an effortless diver, refining your demonstration quality skill and improving your rescue and evaluation techniques to be able to easily anticipate and solve common problems. You’ll gain dive knowledge, management and supervision abilities.</p><br><p class="rteBlock">Courses are organized in advance and the schedule decided from one year to the other. Emergency First Response Instructor
<p class="rteBlock">Teach skills based on internationally recognized emergency care guidelines and learn how to present course content while encouraging student self-discovery.</p><br><p class="rteBlock">An EFR Instructor rating is required to become a PADI Instructor, Complete or refresh this training during your PADI Instructor training.</p><br>
Open Water Scuba Instructor
<p class="rteBlock">The Instructor Development Course (IDC) is made up of two parts – the Assistant Instructor (AI) course and the Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) program. Most dive professionals complete the entire IDC and go on to attend an Instructor Examination (IE), which is the final step to earn a PADI Instructor certification.</p><br><p class="rteBlock">Duration 11 days.</p>
